By January 9th, most of the Grossdeutschland Panzer Grenadier Regiment had arrived and they were ready to begin pushing back the Soviet breakthrough. The road leading south from Kirovograd, however, was cut off by the 18th Tank Corps, with the fresh troops of 19th Tank Corps following close behind. The Grossdeutschland mounted a swift attack against the Soviet forces.
Objectives: Your company will continue east and secure the objective, which will cut the north-south road. Your platoon forms the left flank of the company battleline. Two detachments of Sturmgeschutz will screen the flanks of the assault.
